i want to write down something beautiful
something that will take hold of your eyes
and capture your heart
i want to know what it is to produce something so brilliant
so pure
and so true
that everything else will fade away
and only the glow of the words will fill your mind
and take you away and protect you from the darkness
and the people that destroy
i want the writing to make you feel complete
and never alone
because it's true
but there is a problem with this wish
that can quite possibly come true
i need you to believe in me
because i believe in you
